Trump in New Jersey reveals bold plan to fix Biden’s disaster and help struggling Americans

Following the decent last week results, when Trump managed to secure two huge wins in Georgia and Florida, almost certainly delaying the start of the trials in two of his legal cases, former President Trump gathered a huge crowd in New Jersey in what appears to be one of the biggest Trump rallies. According to Trump, there were more than 100,000 people at the rally on Saturday; his spokespersons said there were between 80,000 and 100,000, while other, more neutral media reported numbers half of Trump’s. Nonetheless, it’s evident that Trump still has strong support among Republican voters, as we have less than six months until the November general election.

A warning sign for President Joe Biden and Democrats

Such a large rally in the historically blue state of New Jersey on Saturday is definitely yet another warning sign for President Joe Biden, who struggles to win the support of key voter groups as he is constantly trailing Trump in the polls. During Trump’s rally, Biden was staying at his home in Delaware before a Seattle trip for a fundraising event. As of last fall, Biden was on track to spend about 40% of his presidency on vacation, compared to Trump reportedly spending 26% of his time outside Washington, D.C., when he was in office, and President Obama’s reported 11% of vacation time, the New York Post previously reported.

The narrative

In front of a massive crowd in Wildwood, Trump slammed the hush money case, calling it a “sham.” He ridiculed District Attorney Alvin Bragg, dubbing him “Fat Alvin,” and criticized the judge in the case as “corrupt” and “highly conflicted.” Trump also blamed President Joe Biden for the entire situation. He didn’t stop there—he went on to attack Biden’s handling of the American economy. Trump promised that if he wins the election in November, he will replace “Bidenomics” with “MAGAnomics” on his first day in office.

Reversing economic policies

Trump took aim at several of President Joe Biden’s economic policies, emphasizing the financial struggles faced by New Jersey residents under the Biden administration.

“On Day One, we will throw out Bidenomics and we will reinstate MAGAnomics,” Trump said. “And we’re going to bring manufacturing, tourism, and other industries back to New Jersey like it’s never seen before.”

Trump claimed that over the past three years, the average New Jersey family has lost $23,381 due to what he termed the “Biden inflation tax.” He pointed out that hot dog prices have risen by 22%, chickens by 32%, hamburgers by 37%, soda by 30%, eggs by 50%, gasoline by 50%, and bacon by 79%. “That’s why I don’t have bacon anymore,” he said.

Devastating inflation and energy prices

He labeled such inflation figures as “devastating” and warned that they put the country in danger of being “busted by inflation.” Trump also blamed Biden’s policies for the increase in the price of energy.

“The choice for New Jersey and Pennsylvania is simple,” he said. “If you want lower cost, higher income, and more weekends down at the shore,” people should vote for Trump in November.

Raising taxes

He asserted that “Crooked Joe” plans to significantly raise income taxes and eliminate Trump’s tax cuts. Trump further promised that, instead of a Biden tax hike, he would introduce a substantial tax cut for the middle class, upper class, lower class, and businesses promising the biggest tax cut ever. Trump assured rallygoers that he would put an end to the “Biden spending spree,” the “green new scam,” and Biden’s “inflation death spiral.” While acknowledging the stock market’s current strength, he claimed it’s only performing well because he is leading in the polls. He warned that if he loses the election, there will be a market crash “like in 1929,” which triggered the Great Depression.

Oil, gas and energy policies

The former president declared that under his leadership, the country will continue to drill and bring energy costs way down. He blamed Biden’s policies for letting energy prices spiral out of control and causing oil to hit $100 per barrel, which he claimed has made Russia “a fortune” and funded President Vladimir Putin’s war against Ukraine. Trump also accused Biden of trying to abolish the suburbs in New Jersey, saying “he will destroy your property value. He will destroy your wealth.”

Trump on Monday returns in court for the hush-money trial.
