Trump to speak to Black voters in Columbia

Columbia, South Carolina – The day before South Carolina’s key vote for the Republican Party’s candidate for president, Donald Trump is going to talk to African American voters. He’s set to give the main speech at a special dinner hosted by the Black Conservative Federation in Columbia.

The event is set to take place on February 23

This dinner is all about the idea of bringing back the American Dream. It’s happening from 6 to 9 in the evening on Friday, February 23, at the Columbia Convention Center. Trump wants to be president again after he didn’t win in 2020. Right now, he’s leading the race to be the Republican choice for president this year.

The vote in South Carolina is on February 24, and Nikki Haley, who used to be the governor, is Trump’s main competition. Haley has planned two events for herself on Thursday: a chance to meet people at 1 p.m. at Doc’s BBQ in Columbia and another event at Forrest Fire BBQ on Hilton Head Island at 6 p.m.

At this dinner, Dr. Ben Carson, who worked with Trump before as the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, will get a special award for all he’s done in his life. The dinner will also celebrate other people who have done great things for the conservative cause, according to the event’s website.
