This year’s theme, Harvesting Happiness, is more than just branding — it’s a reflection of the upbeat spirit that organizers hope workers will bring to every corner of the fairgrounds. Building attendants, circus ushers, guest service workers (preferably multilingual Spanish/English speakers), parking and gate staff, S.C. Grown Marketplace attendants, and arts, crafts, and exhibit entry aides are all examples of temporary jobs. Some occupations may start before the fair opens, such those that help with judging baked goods and crafts. Others may last until after the show closes to help with returns.
