Florence police seek public help locating Christopher Corey Griggs in hit-and-run case from early April

Florence, South Carolina – Florence police are asking for the public’s help as they continue searching for Christopher Corey Griggs, who is wanted in connection with a hit-and-run investigation from early April.

According to the Florence Police Department, the case is tied to an incident that happened on April 3, 2026, in the 700 block of Second Loop Road. Authorities have not released additional details about the circumstances of the crash, but investigators are now working to locate Griggs as part of their ongoing efforts.

Police are urging anyone who may know where Griggs is, or who may have information connected to the hit and run, to come forward. Even a small detail could help investigators move the case forward and bring more clarity to what happened that day.
