Florence, South Carolina – The Florence Chamber of Commerce is getting ready for its 2026 Spring Golf Classic, which will soon fill the fairways at The Traces Golf Club with friendly competition and handshakes.
The event will take place on Thursday, May 7, and will bring together local business leaders, sponsors, and golfers for a full afternoon on the course.
The tournament will take place at The Traces Golf Club, located at 4322 Southborough Road in Florence. At 11 a.m., activities start, and Pee Dee Catering will serve lunch inside the clubhouse. After that, golfers will go to their carts for a noon tee time, which organizers say is one of the Chamber’s most important spring events. The event runs through the afternoon, concluding at 6 p.m. This year’s tournament is sponsored by Raldex Hospitality.

In addition to the round of golf, participants can expect vendor hospitality holes set up all across the course, where they can get food, drinks, and chances to win prizes. There will also be a drawing for a $25,000 cash shootout for every registered golfer. Before the game starts, four players will be selected at random to have a chance to win the main prize.

There are other levels of sponsorship available, such as Tee or Green Sponsorships for $100, Hospitality Hole Sponsorships for $200, Birdie Sponsorships for $750, Gift Sponsorships for $1,000, and an Overall Sponsorship package for $2,200. You can also get a “Do Over” team bundle for $100.
