Columbia gears up for festive St. Pat’s in Five Points celebration with races, parade, and live music

Columbia, South Carolina – The city of Columbia is buzzing with excitement as the St. Pat’s in Five Points Race, Parade, and Festival approaches. Set for Saturday, March 15, 2025, this annual celebration offers a full day of festive entertainment starting bright and early and continuing into the evening.

Starting at 7:30 a.m., the day will begin with the “Get to the Green” races including a 10k, 5k, and a 1-mile fun run. As a perfect beginning for the festivities, these races provide competitors with a picturesque route across the old Five Points area. Whether you’re a serious runner or just looking for a fun, family-friendly activity, there’s a distance for everyone.

Beginning at 10:00 a.m., the St. Pat’s Parade will showcase a variety of vibrant floats, neighborhood organizations, and local marching bands following the races. Major roadways include portions of Greene Street, Harden, and Devine Street within the Five Points neighborhood will be closed at different periods during the day.
