The session is scheduled to run from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in Florence, though organizers said full location details will be shared with those selected to participate.

The event is designed for individuals who are preparing to launch a business as well as those who have already taken the first steps and need help building a stronger foundation.

Rather than a traditional lecture, the bootcamp is being framed as a working session, with participants expected to actively engage with their own ideas throughout the program.

Organizers say the goal is to help attendees move from concept to clarity by focusing on the practical questions that often shape whether a new venture gains traction or stalls early.

Among the key topics planned for the session are identifying a target customer, understanding how a business will generate revenue, and recognizing common mistakes that often trouble early-stage entrepreneurs.

The structure appears to be geared toward giving participants a clearer view of how their ideas fit into the real world, not just on paper.

Space will be limited to 30 participants, a sign that the event is intended to be small enough for discussion and active participation rather than passive listening. Those attending are expected to come ready to think through their ideas, contribute to conversation, and leave with concrete next steps.

The event is sponsored by the Benedict College Women’s Business Center, which is part of the Tyrone A. Burroughs School of Business and Entrepreneurship, in partnership with the Greater Florence Chamber of Commerce.

Together, the two organizations are creating a space where early-stage entrepreneurs can test their thinking, sharpen their plans, and step away with a clearer path forward.

For people standing at the edge of a business idea and wondering what comes next, this bootcamp is designed to help answer that question with substance, structure, and a push toward action.
