The program is available to all small business owners and entrepreneurs. It will cover the basics of cybersecurity and explain how digital security affects both businesses and their customers. People will learn how to spot typical dangers online including phishing scams and malware attacks that can put private information at risk. The seminar will also give businesses clear advice on what they can do right away to defend themselves from these threats.
The program will teach organizations important security practices and give them tools and recommendations they can use right away to improve their cybersecurity. This includes basic but effective steps like turning on two-factor authentication, keeping software up to date, and teaching employees how to spot suspect online activity.

One key part of the training is showing companies how they may help their staff improve their abilities. People who come will learn about the Google Cybersecurity Career Certificate program, which gives employees the tools they need to learn more about cybersecurity and become experts in the field. This is an investment that can help the whole company in the long run.

The Florence Downtown Development Corp., a well-known Grow with Google partner, is helping to put on this program. Through this cooperation, small company owners and entrepreneurs in the area can routinely attend free webinars and seminars on important topics like digital marketing, e-commerce techniques, and, in this case, cybersecurity.
Organizers stress that cybersecurity is no longer something that small firms can ignore. They believe that this free seminar would give local business owners useful tips on how to protect their businesses and calm their clients.
