Utah-based company starts operations in South Carolina

South Carolina – A prominent provider of strategic business solutions, TL+CO Business Solutions, has selected Beaufort County, South Carolina, as the site for its newest operational facility, signifying the company’s initial move into the state. The announcement was made outlining a notable $7.5 million investment into the area expected to generate 35 new jobs.

Primarily serving industries including aerospace, defense, space, and automotive, the Utah-based company focuses on creating and executing important business analytics and strategic supply chain management solutions. The founding of TL+CO’s new office in South Carolina emphasizes the state’s growing importance as a center for technical innovation and industry.

Aiming to start in April 2025, the new 15,000-square-foot building will sit at 1236 Trask Parkway in Seabrook. This site will mostly operate as a kitting and value-add distribution hub. This strategic action is anticipated to improve TL+CO’s operational efficiency and service capacity, hence positioning the company to better serve its customers in many sectors.

According to TL+CO’s President and CEO, Linda Martinez, and Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Tim DiDonato, several elements inspired their selection of Beaufort County. Key factors in their choice, they underlined, were the Lowcountry’s competent workforce, the vibrant community spirit, and the encouraging business climate.

Another appealing feature of Beaufort County is the constant flow of talent from the roughly 800 military members leaving local Marine bases each year, therefore guaranteeing a continual pipeline of skilled potential employees.

“We’re thrilled to call Beaufort County home. The Lowcountry’s skilled workforce, strong sense of community and pro-business environment made this an easy decision. One of the most compelling reasons to locate here is the steady pipeline of talent – especially the 800 service members who transition out of the military from local Marine bases each year. We look forward to growing in Beaufort County and contributing to its vibrant economic future,” said Martinez.

South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster also commented on TL+CO’s decision, expressing his pleasure at the new jobs and investment coming to the state.

“Recognizing South Carolina’s competitive business environment and world-class workforce, TL+CO Business Solutions has chosen the right place to invest, creating 35 new jobs. We are proud to welcome TL+CO to Beaufort County and look forward to a strong partnership for years to come,” Governor McMaster said.

The Coordinating Council for Economic Development has granted job development credits and given Beaufort County a $100,000 Set-Aside grant in support of the project. This money will help with required facility renovations and construction to house TL+CO’s activities.
