New Myrtle Beach center offers FDA-cleared, non-invasive therapies for depression, anxiety, and PTSD

Myrtle Beach, South Carolina – Myrtle Beach welcomed a groundbreaking addition to its healthcare landscape on Friday, November 15, as the Living Water Mental Health BRAIN Treatment Center officially opened its doors with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Among other cutting-edge treatments, this new business, at 1086 London Street, Suite B, represents a major turning point as the Grand Strand’s first center to provide Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) treatment.

Attracting community members eager to learn about the mission of the non-profit organization and the innovative services it would offer, the event started at 9:00 a.m. Visitors could tour the property, get to know the staff, and enjoy Casey’s CookieWorx cookies. The atmosphere was filled with optimism as attendees celebrated the promise of new hope for those struggling with mental health challenges.

The 501(c)(3) Living Water Mental Health BRAIN Treatment Center is dedicated to provide FDA-cleared, non-invasive, drug-free therapies for disorders like depression, anxiety, OCD, and PTSD.  Emphasizing therapies like TMS and PRISM Neuromodulation, the center offers a lifeline for those looking for efficient substitutes for conventional drugs, which can sometimes have long-term side effects.

Transcranial magnetic stimulation is one of the center’s most outstanding treatments. Supported by empirical data, TMS has shown amazing success rates; up to 79% of patients go into total remission from depression. TMS has also become one of the most affordable and successful therapies available worldwide for those with obsessive-compulsive disorder. Studies show that over 72% of patients see notable improvement; over one-third reach complete remission. Moreover, around 90% of those treated report ongoing relief for at least a year.

“We are excited to open our doors and offer these breakthrough, rapid-acting and transformative mental health treatments to our community,” said Ben Greenzweig, Founder & Executive Director of Living Water Mental Health BRAIN Treatment Center, earlier this week. “Our mission is to provide compassionate care that empowers individuals to reclaim their lives and find mental health peace.”

The center’s philosophy of mental health treatment stems from the conviction that healing is a spiritual as well as a medical process. Living Water seeks to give people who might have felt hope slipping away hope by providing proven therapies that are both affordable and successful.

Applause erupted as the ribbon was cut—a sign not only of a new facility but also of new opportunities for many lives. Living Water Mental Health BRAIN Treatment Center is now open and ready to serve as a beacon of healing for the Myrtle Beach community and beyond.
