Florence Outside kicks off weekly running/walking series

Florence, South Carolina – Florence Outside has announced the start of a new running/walking event every week. This looks like an excellent opportunity for people in Florence to get some exercise and fresh air every week. This fun project will begin on Tuesday, March 5th, and will give people in the area a chance to walk together and explore the great outdoors.

Participants will meet at Naturally Outdoors at 5:30 p.m.

Participants will meet at Naturally Outdoors at 5:30 p.m. and go on a walk along the Rail Trail. Participants can choose between paved and dirt paths that are 2 to 4 miles long. People of all fitness levels are welcome at this event. Attendees can split up into groups based on their chosen pace or distance. This event has something for everyone, from experienced runners to people who just want to take a stroll with friends.

This event isn’t just a way to get in shape; it’s also a way to bring people together. To add an element of fun to the mix, the first meeting will conclude with a raffle, where participants stand a chance to win a Florence Outside t-shirt. It’s a great way for attendees to remember the day and carry a piece of the community spirit with them.

The weekly running/walking activity is part of a springtime series taking place every Tuesday evening until Memorial Day. People who live in Florence can stay busy, meet new people, and enjoy the beauty of the city’s natural surroundings. People who own dogs will also be happy to know that their pets can join in the fun as long as they stay on a leash.
