Florence Jam Fest returns with sweet flavors and community fun at City Center Farmers Market

Florence, South Carolina – The City Center Farmers Market is getting ready for one of its sweetest Saturdays of the year as Jam Fest returns on May 16, bringing a full morning of flavor, music and community fun back to Florence.

Now in its sixth year, the annual celebration will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the City Center Farmers Market, where visitors will find a family-friendly event built around all things jam. The festival is expected to turn a regular market day into a lively spring gathering, with jam tastings, a jam competition, live music and plenty of local products on display.

For marketgoers, the event offers a chance to slow down, enjoy the season and sample the work of local farmers, producers and artisans.

Vendors will be featuring jam-related items throughout the market, giving visitors an opportunity to browse, taste and take home their favorites. Organizers are encouraging attendees to visit as many vendors as possible, especially those looking to stock their pantry or freezer for the months ahead.

The jam tasting will be one of the main attractions, giving guests a chance to make their market experience “even sweeter” while discovering new flavors. The jam competition will add another layer of excitement, highlighting the creativity and skill behind one of the market’s most beloved seasonal products.

Beyond the tasting tables, Jam Fest is also being framed as a celebration of local makers and the Florence community. The event brings together small businesses, growers and shoppers in the same open-air setting, creating a Saturday morning experience that blends food, music and neighborhood connection.

City Center Farmers Market organizers said they are excited to welcome the event back in 2026 for its sixth year.

“With the Florence community in attendance and a full lineup of popular vendors, Jam Fest is sure to be a jammin’ good time!”
