Pre-fair tickets offer big savings as South Carolina State Fair gears up for October festival

Columbia, South Carolina – Celebrated annually all throughout the state, the South Carolina State Fair has announced interesting discounts and promotions for this year’s festival including a Senior Day. Offering a mix of fun, food, and celebration fit for all ages, the fair promises to enthrall visitors from Wednesday, October 9, through Sunday, October 20.

Highlighting the fair’s schedule is Senior Day on Wednesday, October 16. On this day, those 55 years of age and above qualify for a $5 discounted admission price. Complementary rides on two of the most popular attractions in the fair—the Ferris wheel and the double-decker merry-go-round—can also be enjoyed by senior guests. This project is a part of the fair’s continuous dedication to make the event fun and accessible for seniors so they may relive happy memories and build new ones.

Apart from Senior Day, the fair is providing significant savings with advanced discount tickets, which go on sale Tuesday, September 10. Fair attendees can save up to 50% off the standard admission price via early ticket purchases either online or in affiliated Circle K stores. Priced at $10 during the pre-fair period, these cheap tickets offer an affordable choice giving admittance any day of the fair’s running, whether on a weekday or weekend.
