Spring Golf Classic, originally planned for May 7 and postponed because of weather conditions, has been rescheduled for June 4

Florence, South Carolina – After a weather delay pushed back one of the Florence Chamber’s familiar spring traditions, a new day is now on the calendar for golfers, local businesses and hospitality participants.

The Chamber’s Spring Golf Classic, originally planned for Thursday, May 7, has been rescheduled for Thursday, June 4, at Traces Golf Club. The early May event was postponed because of weather conditions, forcing organizers to move the outing to a later date.

With the new schedule in place, the Florence Chamber is asking all previously registered participants to confirm that they will still take part. That includes full teams, individual team players and hospitality hole participants who were already set to be involved in the event.

Those who need to confirm participation for the June 4 date are asked to email Mandy Howle at [email protected]. Organizers are also reminding everyone connected to the outing to update their calendars so the change does not get missed.

The day will begin with lunch at 11:00 a.m. in the clubhouse at Traces Golf Club. After that, players can expect a 12:00 noon shotgun start, setting up an afternoon of golf, networking and community connection.

The event remains one of the Chamber’s popular seasonal gatherings, bringing together business representatives and community partners in a relaxed setting outside the usual meeting rooms and offices. Although the weather changed the first plan, the Chamber is moving ahead with the same goal: a strong turnout and a smooth day at the course.

Special thanks were also extended to Raldex Hospitality for making this year’s event possible.

Participants, sponsors and supporters are now looking toward June 4, when the postponed Spring Golf Classic is expected to return to Traces Golf Club with lunch, golf and the Chamber community back together on the course.
