Richland County gears up for 13th annual South Carolina Ag + Art Tour

Richland County, South Carolina – Richland County is getting ready for the 13th annual South Carolina Ag + Art Tour in June. Richland County is asking area artists and volunteers to help with the celebration of the county’s history of agriculture and art. The Ag + Art Tour is a free, self-guided tour of the county’s creative farms and lively farm life. This event is known for its unique mix of farming and art activities.

Richland County is asking artists like painters, potters, quilters, writers, musicians, storytellers, bakers, and more to share their work and stories with the public as part of the event. The goal of this project is to show off the wide range of talents in the county, and it also gives local artists a great way to meet with more people.

Artists who want to take part have until April 15 at 5 p.m. to apply online, and they will have the chance to sell their goods at tour sites. This gives them a greater exposure for their work while supporting the tour’s goal to celebrate local art along with agriculture.

The tour will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on June 8th and 9th, and attendees will be able to see a number of farm and art-related products. On both days of the 2024 Ag + Art Tour, the County will show 20 farms and art-related places. This is the list:

  1. The Congaree Milling Co.
  2. Cottle Farm
  3. Crooked Cedar Farm
  4. Doko Farm
  5. Fabel Farms
  6. Farmers Market Xchange

Richland County aims to provide the best possible organization, smooth operation and enjoyable experience for all attendees.
