Ice skating returns to Florence Center for limited winter dates starting Dec. 14

Florence, South Carolina – Ice skating is back at the Florence Center for the winter season, delivering excitement for families and friends starting on Sunday, December 14. The facility is reopening its rink for a limited number of dates, so people in the neighborhood will only have a few chances to enjoy one of their favorite winter activities.

There are sessions on December 14, 20, 21, 27 and 28 this year, and the last chance to skate is on January 4. Each session lasts from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., giving visitors two hours to skate, learn new tricks, or just enjoy the environment. With fewer dates on the schedule, organizers advise guests to plan ahead so they don’t miss out.

Admission will be $12 at the door, which includes skate rental. You can only buy tickets at the event, and you can find all the information and updates about the event on the Florence Center’s website. Guests can buy hot chocolate and food inside the arena once they finish skating.

The Florence Center says that the event is open to skaters of all skill levels, from people who have been skating for a long time to others who are skating for the first time. The idea is simple: to provide a fun, family-friendly activity that reflects the spirit of the season.
