Florence area businesses encouraged to collaborate on long term diversity and leadership goals

Florence, South Carolina – Plans are underway for the 2026 Building Bridges Diversity and Leadership Summit, scheduled to take place on Monday, March 16. The session will take place at the Florence Center from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and will bring together area experts to talk about workplace leadership, inclusivity, and cultural understanding.

Organizers say that Building Bridges is an engaging group event that focuses on diversity, competence, and mutual respect. Participants will get the chance to look into practical solutions that can help coworkers understand each other better and make the workplace more supportive through a series of breakout sessions held throughout the day. The program schedule includes lunch.

Dr. DaNine J. Fleming, a senior managing partner of F&B Consulting, Incorporated, will give the keynote speech at the summit. He is also a tenured professor and the associate chief officer for training and impact.

Her work is primarily about helping people become better leaders and helping organizations flourish. These are quite similar to the summit’s main goal of promoting smart, inclusive workplace practices.

The cost to sign up for the all-day event is $35 per person. Groups of five or more can also register at a lower fee of $30 per person. The cost covers lunch and attendance at all sessions.

The summit’s goal is to bring together professionals from different businesses in the area so they can think, talk, and learn from each other. Organizers want the talks that started there to last longer than just one day. They want people in the region’s companies to commit to working together respectfully and leading in a way that includes everyone.
