Dominion Energy charitable foundation opens grants for South Carolina nonprofits

South Carolina – Nonprofit and educational institutions within the Dominion Energy service area in South Carolina are now eligible to seek grants of up to $15,000 through the Dominion Energy Charitable Foundation.

Dominion Energy will evaluate proposals concentrating on areas such as human needs, environmental conservation, educational initiatives, and enhancing community engagement.

A revised application methodology has been implemented by the foundation, which now welcomes submissions during two periods annually: spring and fall. The cut-off for submissions this spring is April 2, with the announcement of grant recipients scheduled for June.

Keller Kissam, president of Dominion Energy South Carolina, expressed support for the pivotal role these organizations play in improving and beautifying the state

“Many of the organizations Dominion Energy supports are at the tip of the spear in our communities to make our great state an even better and more beautiful place for people to live and visit,” Keller Kissam, president of Dominion Energy South Carolina sad. “More importantly, they are the ones who really are our brother’s keeper and who are our sister’s keeper when our neighbors need a helping hand, so I’m proud that we support the critical work they do.”
