Columbia, South Carolina – Columbia police are asking residents to help locate a man wanted in connection with a violent armed robbery that targeted an elderly victim late last year.
The Columbia Police Department said Jace Shacon Summers is wanted on charges of armed robbery, criminal conspiracy, and related offenses tied to an incident that happened in November 2025 at the Wells Fargo on Harbison Boulevard.

According to police, Summers is accused of robbing a 92-year-old woman during the incident.
Investigators are now turning to the public as they continue working to find him. Police said Summers is known to spend time in the Broad River Road area of Columbia, and he also has connections to Orangeburg County.
Those areas are now part of the department’s appeal for information, as officers ask anyone who may have seen him or knows where he is to come forward.
Authorities also believe Summers may be traveling in a gray 2015 Nissan Altima with South Carolina tag 669BVD. Police said the vehicle is registered to one of his associates, and they are asking the public to remain alert for both Summers and the car.
The case has drawn serious attention because of the age of the victim and the nature of the allegations.
A robbery involving a 92-year-old woman has added urgency to the search, with police making clear that they want Summers located as soon as possible.
The Columbia Police Department strongly encourages Summers to turn himself in immediately.
