New Dunbarton Drive community brings luxury living and Southern charm to Florence

Florence, South Carolina – A celebratory crowd gathered as Amanda Gorman, community manager of 250 West Apartments, stood alongside local partners, staff members, community leaders and Chamber Ambassadors to mark a new chapter for one of Florence’s newest residential communities.

With the ceremonial ribbon cut, 250 West Apartments officially joined the Greater Florence Chamber of Commerce, signaling both a business milestone and a broader commitment to the area’s continued growth.

The event highlighted the arrival of a thoughtfully planned apartment community designed to bring what organizers describe as luxury living with a touch of Southern charm to Florence. Located at 250 Dunbarton Drive, the development introduces a collection of one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartment homes created with comfort and style in mind.

Inside each residence, attention to detail is evident. Homes feature tile backsplashes, wood-style flooring and expansive walk-in closets. Smart home technology has also been incorporated, offering residents modern convenience alongside high-end finishes. The goal, according to those involved, is to provide an elevated experience that feels both welcoming and refined.

Beyond the apartment interiors, the property offers an array of amenities intended to encourage relaxation and connection. Residents have access to a resort-style swimming pool, a fully equipped fitness center and dedicated co-working spaces. Pet owners will find a dog park and pet wash station on site, while a luxury recovery room with massage chairs adds a distinctive wellness-focused feature rarely seen in similar communities.

Positioned near shopping, dining and major employment centers, 250 West Apartments also offers convenient access to Interstate 95 and Interstate 20, making daily commutes and weekend travel more manageable.

For Gorman and her team, the ribbon-cutting represented more than a formal introduction. It underscored a vision for 250 West to become an active and engaged part of the Florence community, an address where residents can settle in and feel at home from day one.
