Crown & Ash Cigar Lounge set for grand opening in Columbia on February 20

Columbia, South Carolina – Crown & Ash Cigar Lounge will officially open its doors on Friday, February 20, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. It will be a new place for cigar lovers to hang out in Columbia.

The City of Columbia’s Office of Business Opportunities will conduct the ribbon-cutting event. City officials and Councilman Sam Johnson are expected to be there to celebrate the event. Owners Justin Nelson and Dr. Tiniece Javis will welcome guests as the lounge begins its next chapter in the local business community.

Crown & Ash Cigar Lounge is located at 101 Sparkleberry Crossing Road, Suite 4. It is meant to be a place for both new and experienced cigar smokers. The space has a carefully chosen collection of hand-picked cigars that go well with high-quality beers and wines.

The interior combines classic and contemporary elements, featuring leather seating, warm lighting, and rich finishes that create a comfortable setting for conversation and relaxation.

In addition to selling cigars, the lounge plans to hold private events, live entertainment, and guided workshops that teach people about cigars. These activities will teach clients more about the culture of cigars by showing them how they are made and how they may be enjoyed with drinks.

Dr. Javis grew up in Orangeburg, South Carolina, and got her degrees from South Carolina State University and the University of South Carolina. She is now the Director of Human Resources for the City of Columbia.

Nelson is from Charlotte, North Carolina. He graduated from South Carolina State University and the University of Phoenix. He is now a Plant Manager at Martin Marietta Materials. They say their goal is simple: to make a place where people can meet and talk about cigars that they all enjoy.

Crown & Ash Cigar Lounge will be open from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
