Florence, South Carolina – Families across Florence are invited to enjoy an afternoon of music, laughter, and community spirit at this year’s Sounds of the Pee Dee – Family Day, taking place Saturday, August 2, 2025, at Timrod Park.
From 1:00 to 5:00 p.m., Timrod Park at 400 Timrod Park Drive will be transformed into a lively hub of summer celebration. The event promises something for every age group, combining good food, great music, and engaging family-friendly activities in one vibrant gathering.
Kicking off at 1:00 p.m., local food trucks will line the park offering a variety of tasty treats throughout the afternoon. While parents enjoy the culinary choices, children can head over to the dedicated Kids Zone from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. There, little ones will find a world of excitement with face painting, games, and interactive safety exhibits hosted by McLeod Safe Kids.
