The Marlboro County School District has partnered with T-Mobile to offer free internet access to students

Marlboro County, South Carolina – A nationwide provider is collaborating to provide free internet access to students in the Pee Dee region. The Marlboro County School District, in partnership with T-Mobile, is rolling out internet access and hotspots to over 1,400 students across seven schools. This initiative is a part of T-Mobile’s Project 10Million, which seeks to enhance internet connectivity in rural America. The district will be furnished with complimentary mobile hotspots and will have access to affordable laptops and tablets through T-Mobile for households that qualify.

The program guarantees students 100GB of data annually. Officials with the school district and T-Mobile are confident that the complimentary data will help students in their educational endeavors through the year. Top of Form
