Sheriff’s Office holds golf tournament
WINNING GOLF TEAM — Camp Seegars, Robbie Jeffords, Gene Hardee, and Matt Krajack

The Florence County Sheriff’s Office held its 22nd Annual Outback Steakhouse Golf Tournament on Friday, May 4, at the Country Club of South Carolina. The winners of the tournament , with 18 under par, were Camp Seegars, Robbie Jeffords, Gene Hardee and Matt Krajack

Approximately 200 golfers participated in this all day event which included food and prizes. For the morning golfers, breakfast was furnished by Bojangles. Lunch was provided by Jim Pruitt of Outback Steakhouse. Coca-Cola, Pee Dee Food Services and McCall Farms supplied snacks and drinks for the golfers.

This year’s sponsors included Academy Sports, Honda of South Carolina, King Cadillac Oldsmobile, Farmers Telephone, and WPDE TV15. Raldex provided food throughout the day and VIP Magazine managed the beverage carts on the course.

The money raised from this event helps to fund the Wounded Warrior and youth hunts, and the Florence County Sheriff’s Office Pee Dee Pride. Pee Dee pride is now in its 22nd year at Francis Marion University.

This free camp is for children throughout the Pee Dee from ages 8-12.
