New physicians welcomed to medical staffs
Three new physicians have recently joined medical staffs in Florence. Dr.
Nicholas R. White recently joined Dr. Robert W. Moore at Hand Surgery Associates. McLeod Orthopaedics recently welcomed orthopedic surgeon Dr. Ardalan Sayan. Also, HopeHealth of Florence recently welcomed Dr. Amanda Coker Burnette.
White is a board-certified surgeon who has practiced for five years in Florence before accepting a prestigious hand fellowship at the University of Miami to specialize in surgery of the hand. Prior to the completion of his hand fellowship, White graduated from Wofford College and earned his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina.
White’s surgical interests include endoscopic carpal tunnel release, advanced nerve repair, and non-operative treatment of Dupuytren’s disease.
Sayan serves patients at McLeod Orthopedics in Dillon, and in Florence with fellow physicians Dr. Rodney Alan, Dr. Patrick Denton, Dr. Zachary DiPaolo, Dr. Art Jordan, Dr. Lex Hanna, Dr. Christopher Litts, Dr. Brandon McDonald, Dr. Jason O’Dell, Dr. Kevin Pugh, Dr. Jeremy Sparkman, Dr. Chad Thurman, and Dr. Nigel Watt. Sayan recently completed his Fellowship Training in Adult Reconstruction at the Cleveland Clinic in Florida. He specializes in adult hip and knee reconstruction, revisions, and all general orthopedic care.
Burnette earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the College of Charleston, and a doctorate in medicine from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. She completed her residency at AnMed Health Family Medicine program in Anderson.
From Florence, Dr. Burnette is a member of the American Medical Association and the American Academy of Family Physicians.
