Josh Feuerstein to speak at Great Commission Ministries
DARLINGTON – Josh Feuerstein is coming to Great Commission Ministries in Darlington on Tuesday, July 7, at 6:30 p.m. This is a free open-air event so participants are asked to bring your own chair. Donations will accepted for parking. Concessions will be available. Joshua Feuerstein is an American evangelist, internet and social media personality.
In recent months, he has gained Facebook fame and half a million followers as a result of his motivational videos that deal with interpersonal, social and religious issues. In three weeks, one video became viral with over one million shares and 40 million views. A recent video on suicide became the catalyst for the “Cancel Your Suicide” campaign with over 400 self-reported suicide preventions.
At the request of schools and law enforcement, Feuerstein began making guest appearances to speak on suicide prevention. As a former pastor, Feuerstein is known as a featured speaker at national and international events, conferences and stadium concert tours with groups, such as Planetshakers and Press Play. Feuerstein’s social media success led him to be the subject of a recent BBC Trending episode.
In addition, he has hosted or been the guest on television and syndicated radio talk shows, including TBN. Feuerstein’s charisma and his bold, passionate and distinctive communication style resonates with the millennial generation.
Realizing the prevailing disillusionment with society, politics and organized religion, Feuerstein endeavors to speak to and reach people in a way they can relate and understand. He was single until 2014 when he married Jessica Reynolds and became the father of four children who lost their biological father to cancer. They reside in Fountain Hills, Ariz. The church is located at 757 Wire Road in Darlington.
