It’s Victors for fine dining and business lunches
Victors has been a Florence staple for more than a decade. When one thinks of a fine dining experience, chances are Victor’s will be one of the first restaurants that comes to mind.
The restaurant, owned by Tim and Ann Norwood, was chosen by The News Journal readers as the winner of the 2019 Florence’s Finest Formal Dining and Best Place For a Business Lunch awards.
Victors is located inside Hotel Florence at 126 West Evans Street in the newly revitalized historic downtown. It offers free parking behind the hotel with easy access through a courtyard entrance.
Cooper Thomas serves as general manager and executive chef at Victors. In 2014, Thomas was selected by then Gov. Nikki Haley for the inaugural team of South Carolina Chef Ambassadors.
“Our menu has a little bit of everything,” said Tim Norwood. “We satisfy the taste buds of a wide variety of people while keeping the dishes fresh, creative and price efficient. We strive to provide the highest quality service, along with local, fresh, responsibly sourced ingredients in a beautiful and relaxing environment for our guests.”
Serving the people of Florence, however, is at the heart of Victor’s business philosophy.
“We are able to meet so many people and keep close relations with people in our community,” said Norwood. “We love being able to watch Victor’s bring such wonderful and different cuisine to Florence. We want to continue to give the Pee Dee area a place to enjoy time with their family and friends while having a dining experience like no other around!”
