Florence Chamber’s 2018-2019 Leadership Florence class to hold Oyster Roast to Benefit three charities
The Greater Florence Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Florence class is pleased to announce their “Poppin Shells for A Good Cause” Oyster Roast event to be held by the 2018-2019 Leadership Florence class. Proceeds raised from sponsorships, ticket sales and a silent auction will go directly toward three area charities.
The 2019 Oyster Roast and Silent Auction will take place Thursday, April 18th at the Florence Center from 6pm-9 pm and is the class project of this year’s 37-participant Leadership Florence group. The event will feature live music, Heavy Hors D'oeuvres, a cash bar and a silent auction. Tickets are $30 per person or $50 per couple. Next month, the Chamber, along with the group’s leaders, will present checks to local charities including Harvest Hope Food Bank, Empowered to Heal and Mercy Medicine. Donations will also be presented to the Junior Leadership Florence County program, to fund a scholarship for the 2019-2020 Leadership Florence program.
