The Florence Regional Ars Alliance encourages guests to bring their thoughts, theory and opinions on talent, creativity and convention to its next Business of Art Lunch & Learn Series taking place on October 20, 2015 in the Waters Building in downtown Florence. Jon Tuttle is Professor of English and Director of Honors at Francis Marion University. His plays, which include Boy About Ten, Palace of the Moorish Kings, The Hammerstone and Holy Ghost, have won national and regional awards and received over 100 productions and staged readings across the country.

He has received the South Carolina Theatre Association’s Founder’s Award and fellowships from the South Carolina Arts Commission and the South Carolina Academy of Authors. His collections include The Trustus Plays (Intellect, 2009) and Two South Carolina Plays (Hub City, 2009).

This Professional Development Series for artists is possible due to the generous support of Wells Fargo. This lecture for artists of all forms will take place in downtown Florence at 135 South Dargan Street from 12 - 1pm. The cost of an individual lunch is $10 and registration is requested.
