FLORENCE AFTER 5: Carolina Breakers to take downtown stage
The Carolina Breakers will bring their high energy entertainment to the stage July 30 for “Florence After 5,” the popular monthly concert series in Downtown Florence. “Florence After 5” is held the last Friday of each month on the 100 block of South Dargan Street between Evans and Cheves streets. Events run from 5:30 until 8:30 p.m. and the band takes the stage at 6 p.m. Food and beverages are available at the event. All food and beverage sales are made via tickets, which can be purchased at our ticket booth located near the Florence County Museum. Tickets are $1 each. Both cash and cards are accepted. Familiar to the Florence music scene, the Carolina Breakers play a mix of original songs and hits from Motown, funk, rhythm and blues, disco and beach music, among other genres. Eight of the band’s original songs have hit number one on various charts, including “Boardwalk Angel,” “Fell in Love Too Late,” “Key to My Heart,” and “Beach Boogie Blues.” Find out more about the Carolina Breakers at www. thecarolinabreakers.com.
