9th Annual Patriotic Ride Benefit on Saturday
Show your patriotism and help disabled veterans and youth programs while doing so. The 9th Annual Patriotic Ride Benefit will be held on Saturday morning, Sept. 10. This event is hosted by the Florence County Sheriff’s Office, Florence County Veterans Affairs and Black Jack Harley Davidson. Motorcycles will begin registering at 9 a.m. at Black Jack Harley Davidson. All other vehicles will begin registering at 10 a.m. at Julia Belles Restaurant at the Farmers Market. The fee to participate is $20 per car or motorcycle.
T-shirts will be available for $15. Vehicle flags will be provided. The Patriotic Ride will proceed to the Florence County Veterans Park for a ceremony. Following the ceremony, participants will depart for Southern Hops for entertainment and refreshments. All proceeds will benefit local disabled veterans and Sheriff’s Office youth programs.
