COLUMBIA – Florence County teachers Joan Hendrix of Briggs Elementary School, and Beth McCall, Lucy T. Davis Elementary, were among 47 educators who recently learned how to incorporate agricultural lesson plans into their daily teaching schedules.
In an effort to maintain health services for two regional communities, McLeod Health in Florence has announced its agreement to operate the hospital in Chesterfield County.
Sonia Johnson has been named a District One Title One Coordinator. She will replace Diana Bailey who has retired. Johnson has 20 years’ experience in Florence School District One.
