Richard Liles recognized for outstanding volunteerism
Local Allstate agency owner Richard Liles received the Allstate Agency Hands in the Community Award for his commitment to helping others and community service. Because of Liles’ outstanding volunteerism, The Allstate Foundation awarded a $1,000 grant to the March of Dimes, where he volunteers. Liles assists the local March of Dimes committee with raising money and is an active participant in the “March for Babies” walk on May 2. He also collects donations for the March of Dimes in his Allstate agency.
Allstate, its agents, and employees have a proud history of putting their good hands to work in supporting South Carolina communities, promoting volunteerism and providing financial resources to enable local organizations to help others. Now in its 63rd year, The Allstate Foundation has given more than $300 million in financial contributions to communities around the country and in 2013, gave $72,000 in South Carolina as part of the Allstate Agency Hands in the Community Program. “The Allstate Agency Hands in the Community Award celebrates the spirit of service and commitment to communities where we live, work and do business.” said Bob Holden, Field Senior Vice President for Allstate’s Southeast region. “With support from The Allstate Foundation, Richard makes our hometown a better place.”
The Allstate Foundation awards more than $2 million every year to nonprofit organizations across the country in honor of dedicated Allstate agency owners who give back to their communities through outstanding volunteerism. Richard Liles can be reached at (843) 661-2900 or RichardL@ allstate.com.
