McLeod Health will host luncheon for volunteers
McLeod Health plans to honor its volunteers with a recognition luncheon at noon on Friday, Jan. 29, at Victor’s Restaurant. During the luncheon, Linda Boone, Director of Volunteer Services at McLeod, will present the 2015 Volunteer of the Year Award. The recipient of this annual award will be recognized for outstanding achievements while demonstrating superior excellence at McLeod.
In addition to the announcement of the Volunteer of the Year Award, more than 200 volunteers who have contributed outstanding service to McLeod Regional Medical Center will be honored during the luncheon. Certificates and pins will be presented to the volunteers in attendance who have worked more than 1,000 hours and the program will recognize all those with more than 25 hours of service.
Marie Saleeby, Senior Vice President and Administrator of McLeod Regional Medical Center, and Cathy Lee Frederick, Vice President of Service Excellence, will also offer remarks during the event. McLeod honors its volunteers annually by presenting service awards in recognition of their exemplary efforts.
