Florence Family YMCA receives $3,000 grant from Wells Fargo
Florence Family YMCA announced today a $3,000 grant from Wells Fargo to support families in need of childcare financial assistance.
Over 10% of the families in our child care program are on financial assistance and because of organizations like Wells Fargo we are able to offer the assistance to them so they can know that their children are getting the best care possible.
“Our goal at the Florence YMCA is make sure that no one is turned away because of an inability to afford our child care fees and with assistance from the grant we received from Wells Fargo we are able to make that happen. Wells Fargo has been a great community partner for the YMCA and we hope that this will continue for many years.” – Brian New, CEO Florence Family YMCA
“Wells Fargo is thrilled to support the Florence Family YMCA,” said Wells Fargo Northeast South Carolina Market President John Bankson. “Investing in our communities is one of the most important things we can do as a company. We are known as America’s community bank and we’re responsible for promoting the long-term economic prosperity and quality of life for everyone in our communities. If our communities prosper, we all prosper.”
“Our commitment to supporting the Florence Family YMCA connects directly with our vision and values in that we are dedicated to being present and proactive in our local neighborhoods and making a difference in society,” said Wells Fargo South Carolina Community Affairs Officer Susan Bankson.
