Court proceedings suspended

Under the direction of the South Carolina Supreme Court, all in-person court proceedings have been postponed; therefore, traffic and criminal court sessions scheduled in Florence Municipal Court are suspended until further notice.

The City of Florence Municipal Court will not hold morning court, afternoon court, or jury trials until further notice. Defendants with scheduled court appearances will be notified by mail of your rescheduled court date.

The goal is to reduce gatherings of large groups and to encourage recommended “social distancing” guidelines to contain and mitigate the COVID-19 virus spread.
