‘Cinderella’ comes to life on PAC stage

The Columbia City Ballet and the School of Dance Arts come together to present the 2020 production of “Cinderella” March 14 at the Francis Marion University Performing Arts Center.

Tickets for the program, which begins at 7 p.m. , are priced from $20 to $42 and can be purchased online or at the PAC box office.

One of the most-loved fairy tales of all time, the production will include live music by the S.C. Philharmonic under the direction of Morikiko Nakahara. With a beautiful musical composition composed by Sergei Prokofiev, the show is notable not only for its jubilant music but must also for its lush scenery and the comic roles of the stepsisters performed en travesty (literally “disguised” in French). The entire family will want to see this story of love, jealousy, and fine footwear!
