FMU Center of Excellence will fund three FSDS1 outreach projects
The Francis Marion University Center of Excellence to Prepare Teachers of Children of Poverty will provide a total of $2,800 for three school projects in Florence School District One. The three projects are Man Up, a male mentoring program at South Florence High; Steam Ahead with Reading, which will provide access to reading materials in the native languages of ESOL (English Speaking other Languages) families at Delmae Heights Elementary; and Full S.T.E.A.M.
