Thirteen Wilson High School seniors make up the largest group of early college students ever in Florence 1 Schools.

The students are members of the fourth graduating class of the Early College program. These seniors received an Associate of Arts degree from Florence-Darlington Technical College.

Wilson High School graduates include Riane Green, Jenecka King, Ayanna Davis, Janiya Plowden, Jaila Davis, Kiana Wolfe, Jackson Linneen, Tyriesha Turner, Thomas Pipkins, Kenyon Coker, Jamari Williams-Smith, Ezra Mack and Brianna Holbrook

The Early College program was established in the summer of 2014, and it offers students the opportunity to take college classes leading to an Associate of Arts degree. In the high schools, a certified college instructor teaches the students in the program. High school students of the program will earn at least three hours of college credit for each class once they have successfully earned a C or higher.

The Early College program offers 71 college hours.
