Fairy tale performance

Talented young people brought a fairy tale to life last week during the Florence Little Theatre’s production of Disney’s Frozen Jr. The theater was near full capacity for each of its six shows. Directed by Ryan Hilbourn and Lisa Sims, a cast of dozens sang and danced to memorable songs from both the movie and the Broadway show, such as ‘Do you Want to Build a Snowman,’ ‘Love is an Open Door,’ and ‘Let It Go.’ Above, young princesses Anna (Ellery Price), and Elsa (Emi Weaver) share a conversation with their parents, King Agnarr (Hamilton Sprawls) and Queen Iduna (Abigail Greenwood). Top right and middle right, Anna (Maura Hilbourn) speaks with Olaf the snowman (Caleb Howell) and dances with a maid. At right, dancers are silhouetted by darkness. More photos from the production can be found in The News Journal Facebook page.
