Taste of the Symphony
The 16th Annual Taste of the Symphony returns to Roseneath Farms on April 21, from 7 to 10 p.m. Twenty-two chefs will provide tastings, along with five tables of sweets and savories by the ladies of the Guild. The Taste is presented by the Florence Symphony Guild, a registered not-for-profit organization created to support the symphony, encourage young talented musicians and broaden interest in good music in the Florence area.
Celebrity chefs include Block & Vino Neighborhood Butcher, Carolinas Hospital System/Sodexho, First Reliance Bank, Florence Presbyterian Community, Griggs Floyd & Grantham (food prepared by Florence Country Club), Honda of SC (prepared by Canteen Chef Jimmy and assistant David), Icing Ink and Red Bone Alley, Stifel (provided by Ryan Hicks, The Catering Company). Also, Tracks Café at Hope Health, HillSouth, Southern Hops Brewing Co., First Bank, Victors, Top Hat Special-Teas, Venus Restaurant & Catering, The Carolinian, Town Hall/Chef Bobby Hodge, Fiasco, Rebel Pie, The Inn at the Crossroads (Lake City) and Wholly Smokin’ Downtown.
An open bar will accompany the tastings. Tickets are $75 and may be purchased at First Reliance Bank’s Palmetto Street Branch, Talbots, and FMU Performing Arts Symphony Office. Tickets can be purchased at the gate the night of the event. Attendees must be over 21 years of age.
