PETS OF THE WEEK

The Jayne H. Boswell animal shelter is a partnership with the Florence Area Humane Society and the City of Florence. The shelter is located at 1434 McCurdy Road and is open Tuesday through Saturday, from noon to 5 p.m. Contact them by phone at (843) 629-5456. 

Adoption fees are $65 for cats and $85 for dogs. The fee includes first vaccines and spay/neuter. 

The shelter is always in need of volunteers, foster families, and donations. 

Giovanni is a four-year-old neutered male cat. He would be very thankful for a home. Can you adopt him? 

Leyla doesn't understand why she was left at the shelter. Just two years old, she longs for a loving home. Come meet her!
