Lighthouse Ministries dedicates building
Lighthouse Ministries recently dedicated its newly purchased building on Thursday, June 7.
The dedication was in honor of the former owners of the building, Mr. Weston Patterson and the late Mrs. Emily Dixon Patterson. A sign recognizing the building as “The Patterson Building” is now displayed on the W. Evans Street side of the property.
The building, located at 1416 W. Evans Street, is the former location of CSP Insurance Services and the current home of Lighthouse Ministries.
The building has been known in the community for years as being owned by Mr. Patterson.
When Lighthouse Ministries saw that the building was being sold they knew it was the perfect home for them. Mr. Patterson took the offer that the board presented to him. He knew of the important work that Lighthouse Ministries does for the area and wanted to be able to allow them to continue that work in an ideal space. Mr. Patterson says he is honored by the gesture of Lighthouse Ministries.
