Kelly Center offering virtual business workshops
The Kelley Center for Economic Development at Francis Marion University is offering the following upcoming virtual workshops for small businesses:
• Idea to Plan - Sept. 23, 10 a.m. to noon.
Every business starts with an idea and needs a plan to execute. This session will walk through the steps of developing a business plan. A Zoom invitation will be sent via email to those registered 24 hours prior the date of the event.

• Financing Your Small Business – Oct. 8, 10 a.m. to noon.
Learn about the different SBA loan programs offered through various lenders, the SBA’s role in assisting small businesses, the info needed to obtain a small business loan, and the SBA resource partners that can help with your business plan and financial statements for your loan package.

Once you have created website for your business, then what do you need to put on it? This workshop will walk you through tips for Search Engine Optimization (SEO), what pages every website should have, internal/external linking, and the importance of images and videos.
