Impact Children’s Theatre presents Disney’s Cinderella
Impact Christian Children’s Theatre presents “Disney’s Cinderella Kids” on Friday, Dec.11, at 7 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 12, at 3 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 700 Park Avenue. Tickets are $5 general admission. Audience members are asked to bring a non-perishable food item to be donated to Harvest Hope Food Bank. The timeless fairy tale meets the magic of Disney in this musical adaptation of the treasured animated film.
Poor Cinderella is endlessly mistreated by her wicked stepmother and stepsisters, but with a little help from her mice friends and her fairy godmother, Cinderella’s dreams come true. With a beautiful score, including “A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes”, and the classic “Bibbidi, Bobbidi, Boo.” Cinderella Kids will charm its way into your heart.
The cast features students from local elementary, middle schools and home schools, including Ellis Hill as Cinderella, Anna Coker as Stepmother, Maddie Nelson as Anastasia, Mary Leslie Bessenger as Drizella, Whitney Edwards as Fairy Godmother, Heather Elgin as the Grand Duchess, Gavin Gerschutz as Prince Charming, Thomas Edwards as the King.
Gabe Gerschutz and Nathan Smith are town criers, Caroline Coward, Grace Myers and Carrigan Woodson are narrators and royal guests. Lani Hinson is Jaq, Katherine Putnam is Gus with Courtney Coward, Graham Gerschutz, Janiyah McClam, Caroline Myers, Kaitlyn Odom, Raelyn Odom, Sidnee Saulters, Savannah Snell and Townsend Woodson as mice.
