American Legion Post 1 to hold Independence Day BBQ

The Fred H. Sexton American Legion Post 1 will host a free BBQ on July 4 at 1 p.m. to celebrate the birth of our nation.

There will be music and plenty of food, fellowship and friendship for veterans, family, friends and community, all at no charge.

It will also serve as a great opportunity for Post 1 members to introduce themselves to the community to thank all those who support veterans.
