Next Year’s Gift Wrap

We all end up with partial rolls of gift wrap left over. I take the empty tubes and slit them lengthwise and put them over the half used rolls. The wrapping paper is protected and ready for next year! Penny

Save the Wreath

Most natural Christmas wreaths get tossed after one year. I wanted to save mine for next year. So I removed the bow and sprayed it with clear lacquer. Once dry, it was a bit shinier, but it almost looked like it had a thin coat of ice on it. And it hasn’t been losing any needles and they haven’t been turning brown either. I think I’ve got a wreath that’ll be good next year! Melissa

Glass Stove Top Cleaner

If you run out of stove top cleaner or just like to make your own, try this trick. Sprinkle baking soda over the glass. Use a kitchen sponge to rub it over the cook top. Take a clean wet paper towel to wipe off the remaining baking soda. A final pass with a dry paper towel will have it nice and bright!

Cleaning Granite Countertops

I make my own granite countertop cleaner. I take a quart spray bottle and add 1/4 cup of rubbing alcohol and a squirt of Dawn dish soap. After I fill with water, I have the perfect countertop cleaner. Tracy
