Miss Rhodes, Mr. Clardy are united in marriage
Scarlett O’Neal Rhodes and Jason Odell Clardy were married on Sept. 26 at Pisgah Methodist Church. The Rev. Michael Arant officiated the ceremony. A program of wedding music was presented by organist Robin Thompson. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Morris Rhodes Jr. She is the granddaughter of Faye O’Neal Cannon, the late Oscar Cannon, William Rhodes Sr. and Agnes Hoffmeyer Rhodes, all of Florence.
She is a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a bachelor of fine arts degree in art studio and art history. She is a classically-trained artist. She is employed with Pee Dee Nephrology. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Clardy of Florence. He is a writer and published author. He is pursuing a career as a paramedic.
Maid of honor was Kellie Bass. Flowers girls were Samantha Clardy, Emma Grace Clardy and Margaret Poston. Best man was Jarrod Clardy, twin brother of the groom. Ring bearers were William Jason Rhodes IV and Nathan Caulder. A candlelight reception and dinner followed the ceremony in the church social hall.
