Casper-Herford nuptials held in Columbia
COLUMBIA – Macaira Jane Casper and Robert James Herford were married on Saturday, May 16, at 2 p.m. at St. Peter’s Catholic Church. The Rev. Canon Gary S. Linsky, V.F., officiated the double-ring ceremony. A program of wedding music was presented by Mark Husey. The bride was given in marriage by her father. She is daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. Kevin Casper of Florence.
She graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Nursing and is employed with Palmetto Richland Children’s Hospital. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Louis Herford of Charlotte, N.C. He graduated from Charleston School of Law. Danielle Ball was the bride’s maid of honor. Attendants were Jessica Sutkowski and Sarah Casper, sisters; and Brittany Mendogni, Allison Clinton, Casey Scott, Victoria Sessoms and Maggie Penninsi, sorority sisters.
Patrick Herford was his brother’s best man. Groomsmen were Robby Eichorn, Jake Beeman, Mike Nocito, Ty Gile, Chris Pirko, Sean Coyle, Nick Tierney, Adam Vandenberg, Anthony Statuto, Mack Wells and Steve Perkins. A reception was held at the Columbia Museum of Art. The couple left for a wedding trip to the Island of St. Lucia.
