Pam Flowers, Cole Davis hope to samba their way to victory at Dancing With The Stars of Florence
Pam Flowers and Cole Davis are focusing on a samba routine with a touch of hip hop in hopes of bringing home the coveted mirror ball trophy from the 6th Annual Dancing With The Stars of Florence. This sold-out benefit will take place on Tuesday evening, March 22, at the SiMT Building. The dance partners will samba to the song, “Focus” by Ariana Grandee.
Pam has zero dance training but loves to dance. When asked to be a celebrity dancer, her first thought was “OMG...I like to dance, but I’ve got to get to the gym – now.” However, she pushed her fears aside because this is such a great cause that benefits our kids. “I will do whatever is needed to position a child for a better future,” said the mother of four. Pam is married to Tony, a lieutenant with the Police Department in Marion where they live.
Their four children range in age from 22 to 12. Director of PGBA, LLC, Pam hopes to make her PGBA family proud. Cole Davis teaches chorus and band at Mayo High School for Math, Science and Technology in Darlington. He has appeared and danced in many Florence Little Theatre productions and is currently in rehearsal as Donkey in their upcoming musical, “Shrek.” Local celebrities and their professional dance partners will square-off at the SiMT Building at 6 p.m. followed by the competition at 7 p.m.
